Apartments At The Gabbler Luxury Self Catering Scotland
The apartments at the Gabbler are named for the four counties on the North Coast 500 route. Caithness, Sutherland, Ross and Inverness, all of which are an easy and awe-inspiring day trip from your base in Beauly.
Like the Highland landcape, our suites are all different shapes and sizes. You’ll find something in each apartment to give you a flavour of the county they’re named after, be it the crockery, a lamp or a painting on the wall.
All have a bedroom, sitting room, with integrated mini kitchen, and an en-suite shower room. The apartments on the top floor are the traditional attic rooms, with some sloping ceilings, so you have to mind your head in some places!
Access to the communal front door is via a keypad. Each apartment has its own front door, accessed via a key safe. There is free on street parking outside and in the Square. Please note this is an old building, and we do not have a lift.

See & Do
We are passionate about our local area and the thriving village of Beauly is a popular destination.
Visit Beauly
Set around a square, with ruins of the Priory at one end, its beautiful floral displays attract visitors from far and wide. It is home to a wide range of independent shops including award winning gift shops, art galleries and the legendary Campbell’s of Beauly which has a Royal Warrant for the supply of tweeds.
There are plenty of places to enjoy a coffee or a meal. Just outside the village is the Robertson Farm shop where you can see Highland cattle and alpacas up close.
There are a number of fairly gentle walks around the village. We offer a free guided walk round Beauly which you can download to your phone from our tours page. Further afield is Glen Affric Nature Reserve, considered one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland. The area is also home to a significant number of Munros (mountains in Scotland over 3,000 feet).
